Why is wordpress so terrible?

Wordpress has tons of customizations available in the form of themes, plugins and nonsense. The more customizations, the more points of failure. But at the end of the day, wordpress has a lot of flaws, and we all need you to understand it at the atomic level. I don't mean to scare you or litter you for all the work I've done and I'm going to do.

This is the worst customer service system I have ever encountered. I want to talk to a human being. No one will answer my question. They will only do it if you use plugins like elementor (that and divi are the surest signs that someone is not a very good programmer), but only if you want to apply them as a developer.

For us old school people, our world has turned upside down. The Gutenberg project, which is at the heart of almost every new Wordpress feature, is moving so fast that it's almost impossible to keep up with and at the same time improve your skills. It's easy to feel overwhelmed. When this happens to me, I usually take a step back and come back when I have had a chance to rest my mind.

Part of GoDaddy's Managed WordPress plan is that they will automatically update the Wordpress software. I hope that the WordPress community will help us continue to learn, and also to bring in developers for the next 18 years. I give the option of Wordpress maintenance help, but I would be lying if I said that it is taken very often. Another reason why creating a website on WordPress is a bad idea because you may know that updates are not always based on improvements, sometimes they cause errors and website crashes.

Following best security practices for your site is the best way to protect yourself, as WordPress is flawless and uniquely vulnerable compared to other website tools. WordPress desperately needs to make building a block as easy as building shortcuts, it's an order of magnitude harder than ATMs. You'll need to hire a WordPress developer for about 1 to 3 months just to make sure everything is still working properly. If you want your website to be highly optimized for Google, that it loads quickly, that it loads on mobile devices without any problems, then you might want to consider some of the alternatives to WordPress, or even have a custom CMS platform built for your website.

Business owners need to clearly understand what WordPress can and cannot do and the responsibilities they have when using it. In recent years, WordPress has established itself as a reliable tool for building websites. And sometimes, there are several major versions of WordPress in a month, but obviously, updating the website several times in a month would be very risky. The secret to success is to develop your solution FIRST and then win customers who want the result of the system you have created, rather than looking for people looking for WordPress skills for the variety of gardens.

Get ready to hire several WordPress developers over the next two years to fix your site until you get to the point where you're so exhausted that you hate the idea of having a website entirely. WordPress has its place in terms of solving some time and cost problems that small businesses may have. More than half of my clients come to me after having experienced the nightmare of working with WordPress.
